Mezmur is a friendly boy. He lives with his parents and siblings. Until recently, both of his parents worked. His father sustained a blood clot and has now become bed-ridden. His mother works in a private home doing laundry. She takes Mezmur's one-year-old sibling to work with her. Mezmur's mother does not make very much money, and this has left their family struggling financially.  Mezmur is very concerned about his father's health issues. 

Mezmur is excelling at Hanna Orphan's Home. He has the highest grade average in his class. Mezmur is excited about these opportunities to learn.
