Obama's father left his family when he was four years old.  His mother was sick and very angry to have been left with several boys to take care of.  She sent Obama to his grandmother to be cared for.  His grandmother is elderly and unable to properly care for him.  Reformed Heart Orphans Center became aware of the situation and invited Obama to come to RHOC.   He is now enrolled in school and doing well at RHOC.
